Savogran Deep Cleaning Degreaser in a 946 ml container is a cleaning concentrate for cutting grease, oil film and general grime off surfaces. On concrete coating work it fills a gap that solvents cannot.

This matters more than most contractors admit. Solvents like acetone and denatured alcohol thin oil, and thinning oil on a slab often drives it deeper rather than lifting it out. A water-based degreaser emulsifies the contamination so it can be scrubbed loose and rinsed off the surface instead of pushed further in. That is why degreasing comes before grinding on a contaminated floor: if you grind oil-soaked concrete first, you smear the contamination across the open profile you just made and into the pores.

The sequence that works on a greasy slab is degrease, scrub, rinse and let dry, then grind, then check. On a badly contaminated bay you may need to repeat the degreasing step. Oil that has been soaking into concrete for years does not come out in one pass, and a slab that still darkens or beads water after cleaning is telling you it is not ready. Coating over residual oil is the single most common preventable bond failure in a shop or a mechanic's bay.

Follow the dilution and dwell instructions on the container rather than guessing, since this is a concentrate. Wear gloves and eye protection, keep it off finished surfaces you are not trying to clean, and manage the rinse water.
