2" Vacuum Head with Wand

This is a 2 inch metal vacuum wand with a brush rolling head, built for industrial vacuums rather than for shop-vac duty. The metal tube is the point. Plastic wands flex, crack at the cuff and go soft when they get dragged across warm slab all day, and they are the first thing to fail on a floor prep crew that vacuums every surface twice before coating.

The brush rolling head is what makes it useful between grinding and coating. Brushes agitate and lift the fine dust that a bare nozzle skates over, and the rolling head lets the operator work at walking speed without gouging or scratching a profiled slab. On a floor that is about to receive epoxy, the difference between a good vacuum pass and a fast one shows up as contamination in the finished coating.

It connects to 2 inch vacuum fittings, which is the common size on industrial dust extraction hose. Pair it with a 2 inch hose and the vacuum you already run for grinding, and keep it dedicated to final floor cleanup so the brush stays free of cured resin.

This is a cleanup tool, not a dust capture shroud. Use it after grinding and before priming, on tack passes between coats, and for picking up loose flake and broadcast rejects. For dust capture at the tool while you are actually grinding, you want a shroud that seals to the machine and a vacuum sized to it.
