The ASL Carbide Cutting Glue Remover in a 9mm 3-hole trapezoid pattern is built for heavy-duty adhesive removal. It strips thick glue and mastic off a slab without damaging the concrete underneath, which is the whole problem with adhesive removal: the glue comes off easily enough if you do not care what the slab looks like afterward, and the point of a carbide tool is that you do.

The trapezoid body carries adjustable carbides that can be repositioned from one side to the other, so you can match the cutting edge to your grinding direction. That matters on machines that only turn one way and on operators who work in a consistent pattern. Reversing the carbides also gets a second working life out of a tool instead of scrapping it when one edge dulls.

This is a prep tool that runs ahead of everything else. Carbide takes the bulk of the adhesive off fast, then metal bond or transitional diamonds clean up the residue and open the profile the coating actually needs. Running carbide alone and coating over what it leaves is how you get a bond failure across an entire glue-down area.

Run it with dust collection. Adhesive removal generates a large volume of dust and debris, and dry grinding without a vacuum on the machine is both a housekeeping problem and a silica exposure problem.
