About the TCP Global Lid
The TCP Global lid fits a 1 pint mixing cup and seals it for transport and short storage. It is the part that makes a mixing cup useful after the mixing is done.
Crews use sealed pint cups for tint and color samples going back to a client, small patch and touch-up batches, and flake or color references kept in the shop. A lid lets you label a cup, stack it, and move it in a truck without a resin puddle on the floor mat.
Buy lids with cups. They are the item that gets forgotten in an order and then needed immediately.
One thing to be clear about: a lid does not stop chemistry. Catalyzed two-part material continues to cure inside a sealed cup, so use lids for samples and transport rather than for saving mixed product until the next day.
