ASL PRO 8- 25" Propane Grinder

The ASL PRO 8 is a 25 inch propane floor grinding machine built for surface prep and polishing on commercial slabs. It runs a 20 HP Kawasaki propane engine through a gear drive, which is the combination that gives you steady torque under load instead of a machine that bogs the moment the tooling bites. Gear driven means power gets to the heads without belts to slip, stretch or replace.

Propane is the reason a machine like this exists. On large interior commercial work with no realistic three-phase power at the slab, an electric grinder of this size means generators, cable runs and a power problem to solve before any grinding happens. A propane machine carries its own fuel and keeps moving. It also needs the ventilation and exhaust monitoring that any propane equipment indoors requires, which is a planning item, not an afterthought.

At 25 inches of working width, this is a commercial production machine, not a garage tool. It is sized for warehouse floors, retail slabs, distribution centers and polishing work where square footage per day is what you are selling. For a residential two-car garage it is more machine than the room can use, and the smaller footprint of a walk-behind in the 20 inch class handles that work better.

The machine ships with 3 magnetic plates and a resin holder. Beyond that, tooling is bought separately and it is the part that determines what the grinder actually does. Magnetic plates make segment changes fast, which matters when you are running a full progression on a polish job. ASL and Lavina fitment diamond segments, PCD tooling for coating removal and metal bond plates are all sold on their own.
