A 10 quart mix and measure container from Midwest Rake, built for the part of coating work where guessing costs the most. Two-component systems only cure correctly at the ratio the manufacturer specifies, and a graduated container is how you hit that ratio when you are splitting a kit or mixing a partial batch rather than pouring a full unit.

Splitting kits is common and it is where floors go wrong. A crew that eyeballs half of a Part A into a bucket and half of a Part B behind it has changed the ratio, and the result is a floor that stays soft, stays tacky, or cures with inconsistent gloss across the room. Measured volume removes the argument.

The 10 quart size also controls your batch. Mixing more material than you can place inside the pot life is a self-inflicted problem, because epoxy generates heat as it reacts and a large mass in a deep pail accelerates the reaction and can flash off in the container. Smaller measured batches placed promptly are safer and produce a better floor than one heroic mix.

These are cheap enough to buy in quantity, and having several on hand means you are not scraping and reusing a container mid-job with material already ticking. Keep them clean, and if you are mixing colored material, dedicate containers by color so you are not chasing tint contamination on a light gray floor.
