- A UV additive slows ambering, it does not eliminate it. For real sun exposure the correct build is still a UV stable polyaspartic or aliphatic urethane clear over the epoxy.
- Color shift shows worst on whites, light greys and blues. On a dark charcoal or brown floor, ambering is far less visible and the additive matters less.
- This is dosed per batch of mixed epoxy, so buy packs by the number of batches you plan to treat, not by floor area.

About the Epoxy UV Pack
The Epoxy UV Pack is an 8 ounce additive that goes into epoxy coatings to help them hold appearance under light exposure. It is sold by the pack and is dosed into the mixed material at application, which makes it a per batch consumable rather than a coat in the system.
The problem it addresses is well known to anybody who has coated a floor near a window. Epoxy as a chemistry class ambers under ultraviolet light. A crystal clear epoxy in a sunlit garage bay or a showroom with glass frontage will drift warm over months, and it shows worst on white, light grey and blue floors where the color shift has somewhere to go visually. A UV additive slows that process. It does not make epoxy into a polyaspartic.
That distinction drives the buying decision. If the floor sees serious sun, the correct answer is still a UV stable topcoat over the epoxy, a polyaspartic or an aliphatic urethane clear. The UV pack is the right tool when you want extra insurance on an epoxy build, when the topcoat is not in the budget, or when the exposure is incidental rather than constant.
